Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a 39-year-old man following an armed robbery at a gaming venue in Wonthaggi last Saturday night, Victoria Police say.
It is alleged the man armed with a firearm entered the club on Graham Street about 11.40pm and stole an amount of cash.
It is also alleged the man attempted to rob the Wonthaggi golf course on 19 November.
The Wonthaggi man has been charged with armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.
He will appear at the Morwell Magistrates’ Court today.
