A man will face court charged after allegedly filming a woman and a child without consent in the state's south.
About 7.30am yesterday (Saturday 1 November 2025), police were called to a home on Cassia Street, Leeton, following reports a man was filming a woman through a bathroom window.
Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District attended and were told the woman had grabbed a man's phone after it was held up to the bathroom window.
The man – aged 28 – was arrested at the scene and taken to Leeton Police Station.
A crime scene warrant was conducted at a home on Cassia Street, where police seized several electronic devices.
The man was charged with six counts of film person in private act without consent, and one count of possess child abuse material.
Police will allege in court the man had also previously filmed a 16-year-old girl.
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 2 November 2025).
