Man charged in relation to shooting incident at Pablo's Cocktails and Dreams, TAS

Police this morning arrested a 38-year-old Glenorchy man in relation to the shooting incident at Pablo’s Cocktails and Dreams early Sunday morning, Tasmania Police say.

He was taken into police custody around 11am in the vicinity of the Campbell and Brisbane Streets.

The man has been charged with multiple offences relating to the shooting incident:

  • Recklessly discharging a firearm without due regard to the safety of persons
    or property
  • Carrying a firearm with Criminal Intent
  • Possession of a loaded firearm in a public place
  • Possess unregistered firearm.

He has been detained to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court.

Police wish to thank members of the public for information provided in respect to the incident.
