Man charged over dangerous driving Gold Coast

Police have charged a man after it is alleged he was driving dangerously on the Gold Coast in the early hours of yesterday morning, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged that around 4.45am, police were called about a man acting suspiciously in Poinciana Boulevard at Broadbeach Waters.

The man left the scene and was observed driving erratically in the Broadbeach Waters area.

During the incident it is alleged the man damaged three vehicles including a police car, a fence and struck a tree.

A 28-year-old man from Edens Landing has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
