Man charged over drug seizure in Carrara, QLD

A 30-year-old man has been charged after a quantity of dangerous drugs, cash and fireworks was allegedly found inside a Carrara home yesterday, Queensland Police say.

Officers from the Gold Coast Rapid Action & Patrols Group executed a search warrant at the Meadowlake Drive address, where it is alleged they uncovered a quantity of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, cash and fireworks.

The 30-year-old Carrara man has been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of producing and supplying dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils, possessing explosives and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence.

He is scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court January 30, 2018.
