Man Charged Over Frankston Burglary, Police Car Ramming

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an alleged aggravated burglary in Frankston on 2 February.

Cars were stolen from a property in Gould Street and a police car was rammed on Seaford Road about 1.10am.

Fortunately the officers were not seriously injured.

A 43-year-old man from Dromana was arrested by police on Saturday morning.

He has been charged with numerous offences including aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle and intentional exposure to police officer to risk by driving.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 5 February.
