Man charged over multiple commercial break-ins, NSW

Police have charged a man following investigations into multiple break, enter and steal offences within commercial premises in Killcare last week, NSW Police say.

Between 2am and 4am on Monday 16 July 2018, seven shops in the Killcare area were broken into and numerous property, including power tools, computer software, alcohol, jewellery and cash, were stolen.

All offences were reported to officers at Brisbane Water Police District and an investigation was commenced.

About 10.30am yesterday (Monday 23 July 2018), a 33-year-old man was arrested while driving his vehicle on Jarrett Street, Wyoming.

Police will allege he was found with a number of stolen items both in his pockets and in his vehicle.

He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with break and enter (x7), goods in custody and resist arrest.

He was refused bail and will appear in Gosford Local Court today (Tuesday 24 July 2018).
