Man charged over obscene exposure, NSW

A man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a woman on the Central Coast, NSW Police say.

About 9.30am on Friday 10 February 2017, a 29-year-old woman was with her child in the car park at Terrigal Beach, when she observed a man allegedly committing an indecent act while seated in a motor vehicle.

The incident was not reported to police on that occasion.

About 9.30am today, the woman and her child were at the same location when she again sighted the same man allegedly committing an indecent act while sitting in the motor vehicle.

Police were contacted however the man left the scene in the vehicle.

About 11.45am the same day, the man attended Terrigal Police Station, where he was placed under arrest.

The 42-year-old man was charged with two counts of wilful and obscene exposure.

He was given strict bail conditions to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 21 March 2017.

Police are urging anyone who may have information on further incidents to contact Crime Stoppers.
