Man charged over service station incident, TAS

A 24 year old Ulverstone man has been charged over an alleged incident at Ulverstone BP service station this morning, Tasmania Police say.

Police allege the man entered the service station, destroyed property and attempted to steal a car shortly afterwards.

The man has been charged with Attempted Car Jacking and Destroying Property.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court this afternoon.
