Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 19-year-old Mount Waverley man over a fatal crash which occurred in Wallington earlier this year, Victoria Police say.
A ute and a car collided at the intersection of Cerberus Drive about 12.25am on 19 March.
The 19-year-old has been charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, drink driving, theft of motor vehicle and drive manner dangerous.
He faced an out of sessions hearing and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
