Man charged with 25 offences across multiple LACs, NSW

A man will face court today charged with a string of offences across multiple LACs. , NSW Police say

In May 2017, police from the Public Order and Riot Squad, Hawkesbury, Blacktown, Mt Druitt, The Hills Local Area Command along with Quakers Hill Highway Patrol commenced inquiries into reports of property offences, traffic offences, police pursuits and fraud related offences.

Following investigations, about 10.45pm on Sunday 25 June 2017, officers attached to the Public Order and Riot Squad attended a home on Tabali Street, Whalan, to speak with a man.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

He was charged with 25 offences including drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty, posses prohibited drug, dishonestly obtain property by deception and various other offences.

The man was refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today.
