Man charged with drug offences in Bondi

A man has been charged with drug offences in Bondi yesterday, NSW Police say.

Just before 2am on Wednesday 24 August 2016, police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command spoke to the driver of a Ford Falcon on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

Officers searched the 20-year-old man and it is alleged they located methylamphetamine (ICE) and cocaine.

Following further inquiries, police executed search warrants at an apartment in Grafton Street, Bondi Junction and an apartment in Cuthill Street, Randwick.

During these searches officers allegedly located:

- MDMA

- Cash

- GHB

- Cannabis

- Unknown white tablets

- Unknown white powder

- Amphetamines

- Ice

- Prescription medication

- Mobile phones

- Ledgers

- Drug paraphernalia

- And drug packaging equipment

All items were seized and will undergo forensic examination.

The man was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station.

He has been charged with supply prohibited drug, deemed supply of MDMA, deemed supply of GHB, deemed supply amphetamine and deal with proceeds of crime.

He is refused bail to appear at Waverley Local Court today (29 September 2016).
