Man charged with drug supply in Yamba

A man will appear in court today after allegedly supplying and possessing prohibited drugs in Yamba, NSW Police say.

About 11.20pm today, officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command were undertaking patrols at a hotel on Pilot Street when a man was stopped and spoken to.

Police will allege a search of the man resulted in 32 MDMA capsules located, which were seized for forensic examination.

The man, 30, was arrested and taken to Yamba Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and will appear at Grafton Local Court tomorrow.
