Man Charged With Grievous Bodily Harm, TAS

Following a lengthy investigation, police have today charged a Burnie man with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm at the Burnie Dogs’ Home late last year, Tasmania Police say.

On 30 November 2016, two men received life-threatening stab wounds during an incident at the Burnie Dogs’ Home.

Both men were flown to Royal Hobart Hospital, underwent emergency surgery, and survived their injuries.

The 21-year-old Burnie man will appear in court at a later date.
