Man charged with high-range PCA following crash in Auburn

A man has been charged with drink-driving following a crash in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

Just before 2am tomorrow, police were called to South Parade, Auburn, following reports a vehicle collided with three parked cars.

On arrival, officers from Flemington Local Area Command located the driver, a 21-year-old man, uninjured and he was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

He was arrested in a nearby street and taken to Auburn Police Station where officers performed a breath analysis, which allegedly returned a reading of 0.171.

The man was charged with high-range PCA and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday 5 July 2016.
