Man charged with high range PCA, NSW

A man will face court next month after he was allegedly stopped for drink driving in Sydney’s CBD, NSW Police say.

Off-duty officers stopped the male motorist on College Street, about 5.30am today (Monday 1 January 2018), for the purpose of a random breath test.

He returned a positive roadside result and was arrested and taken to Surry Hills Police Station where he allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.240.

The 26-year-old man was charged with high range PCA.

The man was granted conditional bail and will appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday 1 February 2018.
