Man charged with indecent assault on train in Ourimbah

A man has been charged following an alleged indecent assault on a train at Ourimbah yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 7.30pm yesterday a 26-year-old woman was allegedly indecently assaulted by a man while travelling on a train from Ourimbah to Niagara Park Railway Stations.

As the train arrived at Niagara Park, the woman exited the train, where she alerted station staff, who then notified police.

Officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

About 1pm today, officers arrested the man at his home.

He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with indecent assault.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday 11 October 2016.
