A man has been charged with murder after the discovery of a woman’s body on the Northern Beaches today, NSW Police say.
About 10.45am today, police were called to Marine Parade, Avalon, following reports a woman had been fatally stabbed.
Police attached to the Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in nearby Ruskin Rowe and taken to Manly Police Station.
He was charged with murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man has been refused bail to appear before Manly Local Court tomorrow.
A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
