Man charged with reckless wounding in Goulburn

A man will face court tomorrow after an incident during which another man was injured in Goulburn overnight. , NSW Police say

About 12.50am (Sunday 4 February 2018), an argument ensued between two men, aged 19 and 46 at a home on Mundy Street, Goulburn.

Police will allege, during the argument the 46-year-old man sustained a laceration to his head and a stab wound to his chest.

The injured man was treated at the scene before being taken to Goulburn Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

The 19-year-old man was arrested at a nearby residence and was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding.

He was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court tomorrow (Monday 5 February 2018).

The pair were known to each other.
