A man has been charged with several offences after police arrested him riding an all terrain vehicle at Moree overnight, NSW Police say.
About 1.40am today, police from Barwon Local Area Command were patrolling the Newell Highway when they observed a man riding an all terrain vehicle.
As the man crossed the highway the officers followed him and he was arrested in the vicinity of Amaroo Drive.
The man was conveyed to Moree Police Station where he was later charged with several offences including being armed with intent to commit indictable offence, goods in custody, disqualified driver, and having an unregistered vehicle.
The man was refused police bail and appeared at Moree Bail Court this morning.
He remains in custody and will reappear at Moree Local Court tomorrow.
