A report will be prepared for the Coroner after the death of a man in Sydney today, NSW Police say.
About 4.40pm today, emergency services were called to a barge on the water in Darling Harbour.
Police have been told a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was working on a barge when he was struck by a metal object.
He died at the scene.
Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command attended and a crime scene has been established.
Work Safe NSW has been notified.
