Police have detained a man following high risk incident at Modbury North this morning, according to SA Police.
Just after 5.30am a man entered a service station on Montague Road and threatened the console operator.
Police negotiated with the man while other emergency services crews were at the service station on stand-by.
Just before 6.30am the man was take into custody without incident.
There are no physical injuries to the console operator or the suspect, who will be assessed under the mental health act.
Traffic on Monatgue Road is still diverted around the scene.
