A man has died in hospital overnight after being hit by a bus in Sydney's east yesterday.
About 12.40pm (Monday 18 February 2019), emergency services were called to Anzac Parade, Moore Park, following reports a man was hit by a bus while crossing the road.
The man, aged 62, was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a critical condition, where he died early this morning.
The bus driver, a 63-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
Officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
