Man dies after Central Coast stabbing

A man has died following a stabbing incident on the Central Coast overnight.

Emergency services were called to a home on Slim Close, Watanobbi, about 11.30pm (Sunday 25 October 2020), where a 26-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his chest and face.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken in a critical condition to John Hunter Hospital, where he later died.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the man's death has been launched by officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District, assisted by the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
