Man dies after Croydon North Collision

A man has died after being struck by a car in Croydon earlier this month., Victoria Police say

The collision occurred on Friday 12 August about 4.20pm.

Police believe the man was attempting to cross Maroondah Highway in a south easterly direction when he was struck by a sedan turning left out of Exeter Road to travel east along Maroondah Highway.

The 51-year-old pedestrian was airlifted to hospital with head and lower body injuries.

The Croydon North man died in hospital on 23 August.

The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 20-year-old man, stopped and assisted police with their enquiries.

The Croydon Hills man was not injured.
