Man dies after mobility scooter crash

A man has died after crashing his mobility scooter earlier this month in Seymour.

Emergency services were called to Station Street on 5 August about 11.15am.

It's believed the 89-year-old was driving North West on the footpath when he collided with a public bench.

The Seymour man sustained an injury to his ankle and was conveyed to a Melbourne hospital.

Sadly he passed-away in hospital on 8 August.
