Man dies after motorcycle crash in state's Central Coast

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state's Central Coast.

About 1.55pm yesterday (Saturday 25 March 2023), emergency services were called to Coramba Road, Coramba, following reports a motorcycle had crashed into a power pole.

Bystanders administered first aid to the 45-year-old rider before NSW Ambulance paramedics took the unresponsive man to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital in a critical condition; however, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

There have been no other reports of injuries.

Officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
