Man Dies After Sedan Crashes At Broken Hill

A man has died after a crash in the state's Far West today.

About 5.30am (Saturday 7 February 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on Beryl Street, Broken Hill.

Officers attached to Barrier Police District attended and found a sedan had left the roadway and rolled before crashing into a fence.

The driver – a man believed to be aged in his 50s – was treated by first responders and NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Police established a crime scene and an investigation into the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
