A man has died after a single vehicle crash in the state's South Coast today.
About 7.30pm today (Saturday 21 June 2025), emergency services were called to Sapphire Coast Drive, Tura Beach, following reports of a vehicle rollover.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District were told a white sedan allegedly lost control before it has rolled.
The driver – a man believed to be in his 30s – and his passenger – a man believed to be in his 40s – were both treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to South East Regional Hospital, Bega, both in a critical condition. The driver was later airlifted to Canberra Hospital for specialist care.
Just after 11pm on the same day, police were informed the passenger has died at the hospital.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene was established, and officers attached to Crash Investigation Unit were called to commence an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
