A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's Southern Tablelands region tonight.
About 6.15pm (Monday 24 February 2020), emergency services were called to Mulligans Flat Road at Sutton, about 23km north of Queanbeyan, following reports a Volvo S80 sedan had crashed into a tree.
On arrival, officers from Monaro Police District located the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man believed to be aged in his 40s, deceased. He has not been formally identified.
Police established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
