Man dies after single-vehicle crash

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner after a Tumut man died when his ATV rolled near Tumut yesterday.

Police have been told a 69-year-old man left in an ATV to travel to a property in Wyangle, approximately 16km, north-east of Tumut, about 3.30pm (Sunday 10 March 2019).

When he failed to return at 9pm, a colleague began searching and found him deceased after the vehicle rolled over.

Officers from Riverina Police District established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
