Man dies after stabbing - Woodbine

A man has died in hospital following a stabbing in Sydney's south west last week.

Just after 7.15pm on Wednesday 24 November 2021, emergency services were called to Queenscliff Drive, Woodbine, after reports an injured man had approached the resident of a unit for assistance.

A 33-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for multiple stab wounds, before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were assisted by specialist forensic police with inquiries to locate a crime scene.

Detectives established Strike Force Botumburra to investigative the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police were notified that the man died in hospital yesterday (Tuesday 30 November 2021).
