Man dies after Stawell crash

A man has died after his motorcycle struck a pole in Stawell this morning.

Police have been told the rider was travelling along Sloane Street when it appears, he lost control and crashed into a telegraph pole about 12.10am.

The rider, a 24-year-old from Stawell, sadly died at the scene.

It's not believed any other vehicle was involved in the incident.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
