Man dies after suspected drowning in Yamba

A man has died after a suspected drowning in the state’s north today, NSW Police say.

About 2pm today, a 46-year-old Yamba was swimming at the Kolora Lake Reserve at Yamba, when he was pulled from the water unresponsive.

CPR was provided; however, he died at the scene.

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
