Man dies after three-car crash in Parramatta

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal crash in Sydney’s west yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 6pm (Sunday 8 July 2018), emergency services were called to the M4, near the Church Street off-ramp, at Parramatta, following reports of a three-car crash.

The driver of a Mazda sedan, a 92-year-old woman, was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Her passenger, a 95-year-old man, suffered critical injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital where he later died.

The drivers of the two other vehicles, Honda Captiva and Honda Civic, were not injured.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
