Man Dies After Water Skiing Incident At Euston

A report is being prepared for the Coroner after the death of a man following a water skiing incident in the state's south.

About 11am today (Saturday 9 March 2024), emergency services were called to the Murray River at Euston, following reports a man had been seriously injured while skiing on the water.

The male skier, aged 42, was treated by Ambulance Victoria paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

With assistance from Victoria Police, officers attached to Barrier Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
