Man dies following Armadale collision

A pedestrian has died following a collision at Armadale yesterday (25 February).

It is understood a truck was reversing along Sutherland Road about 6am when the man walked out of a driveway and onto the road.

He was hit by the truck and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The 32-year-old driver stopped at the scene to render assistance.

The pedestrian, an 86-year-old Armadale man, died last night in hospital.

Police are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the collision and the investigation is ongoing.
