Man dies following cliff fall south of Sydney, NSW

A man who fell from a cliff in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney, on the weekend has died, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Big Marley Beach at Bundeena about 6.30am on Saturday (8 July 2017) after a 28-year-old man fell about 15 metres from a cliff.

It’s believed the man and some friends were climbing down the cliff to go fishing when the incident occurred.

The man was airlifted to St George Hospital in a critical condition but has since died in hospital.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
