Man dies following collision at Mordialloc

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a bus in Mordialloc yesterday afternoon, Victoria Police say.

It is believed the 67-year-old Mordialloc man was crossing Beach Road at the intersection of Centre Way about 4.40pm on 7 September when he was struck by a turning bus.

The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died.

The bus driver, a 41-year-old Oakleigh man, is assisting police with their enquiries.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time.

The investigation is ongoing.
