Man dies following Glandore crash, SA

A man has died as a result of a single car crash at Glandore yesterday, according to SA Police.

Just before 1pm on Wednesday 6 July police responded to reports that a car had collided with a pole and tree at the corner of South Road and Glengyle Terrace.

The driver of the car, a 67-year-old man from the State's mid-north was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition but sadly died last night.

South Road was restricted to one lane for northbound traffic for several hours but has since been reopened.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The man’s death brings the State’s road toll to 48 compared with 49 at the same time last year.
