Man dies from injuries, Tamborine crash

A 62-year-old man from Runcorn, who was the driver of a bus involved in a serious collision at Tamborine last Thursday November 17, has passed away from his injuries in hospital, Queensland Police say.

Initial investigations indicated that around 9.15am, the bus had been travelling inbound on Waterford Tamborine Road. before colliding head on with a truck heading in the opposite direction.

A passenger on the bus was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The 64-year-old truck driver was uninjured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigations into the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who have any information that may assist investigations to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
