A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Cranbourne last night (2 May), Victoria Police say.
It is believed the rider was travelling south on the South Gippsland Highway when the motorcycle he was riding the roadway about 11.25pm.
Emergency services treated the yet to be identified man at the scene however he died prior to being transported to hospital.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Investigators wish to speak to the driver of a red sedan seen immediately prior to the crash.
Any witnesses, anyone with dash cam footage or anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
