Inquiries are continuing after a man died in a crash today in Wollombi, NSW Police say.
About 1pm today, emergency services were notified of a single vehicle crash on Wollombi Road.
Upon arrival, a 23-year-old man was trapped in the vehicle however, has since died from his injuries.
Officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command have established a crime scene.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are seeking any witnesses to come forward.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
