A man has died during a crash at Dandenong South this evening, Victoria Police say.
It’s believed the man was getting into his car on Dandenong-Frankston Road when a tray truck crashed into him and his vehicle about 5.35pm.
The man died at the scene.
The driver of the truck is assisting with enquiries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are en route to the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the crash or who saw the truck driving in the area prior to the crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
