A man has died in a fire on the Central Coast, NSW Police say.
About 2.15pm today, police and emergency services were called to a property on Platypus Creek Lane, Palm Grove, after reports of an out an of control fire.
Police attended and located a man deceased. Rural Fire Service (RFS) personnel attended and contained the fire.
Initial inquiries suggest the man was conducting a back burn operation on his own property at the time of the incident.
A crime scene established and an investigation is underway.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
