Man dies in hospital following Daisy Hill crash

A man has died in hospital following single-vehicle crash in Daisy Hill in February, Victoria Police say.

It is believed a man was travelling south along Ballarat-Maryborough Road when his Holden ute left the road and collided with a tree about 3.50pm on Tuesday 28 February.

The driver and sole occupant of the ute, a 70-year-old Daisy Hill man, was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.

Sadly, he died in hospital on Sunday 26 of March.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
