Man dies in single-vehicle crash - Central West

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West overnight.

About midnight (Saturday 14 August 2021), a Toyota Hilux was travelling west on Lachlan Valley Way, about 25km west of Lake Cargelligo, when it left the roadway before rolling several times.

Passing motorists rendered assistance to the driver and sole occupant, a 20-year-old man, before the arrival of emergency services.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, died at the scene.

A crime scene was established, and officers from Central West Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
