Man dies in single-vehicle crash - Ingleburn

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney's west overnight.

About 10.20pm (Friday 21 January 2022), emergency services were called to Bensley Road, Ingleburn, after a blue Hyundai Getz had hit a tree.

The driver, and sole occupant, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and, with the assistance of specialist officers, commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
