Man dies in single-vehicle crash near Walgett

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's north yesterday.

Emergency services were called after reports a Toyota Hilux utility had crashed at Grawin Opal Fields, about 60kms west of Walgett, about 6.40pm (Monday 21 September 2020).

The driver and sole occupant, a 32-year-old man, died at the scene.

Officers from Central North Police District attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
