Man dies in Tatura collision

A man has died following a two car collision in Tatura on Wednesday, Victoria Police say.

It’s believed a Holden sedan travelling north on Tatura-Undera Road collided with a Holden utility that was travelling west on the Midland Highway about 6.50pm on 25 January.

The driver of the sedan, a 24-year-old Abbotsford man, was taken to hospital, but died the following day.

A 24-year-old Kilsyth woman, who was a passenger in the sedan, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A second passenger, a 27-year-old Kilsyth woman, was taken to hospital for observation.

The driver and sole occupant of the utility, a 33-year-old Arcadia man, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
